Google Meet initiation to Microsoft Teams

The Problem

End users have the ability to start ad-hoc meetings with their colleagues. Invitees typically receive a native notification, alerting them to the meeting. When attempting to start a meeting with a colleague who uses a different chat platform, the meeting invitation will not be delivered to the cross-platform colleague.

The Solution

Mio will translate and deliver the meeting and call invitation from Google Chat to the cross-platform colleague in Microsoft Teams. The cross-platform Microsoft colleague will be able to join the Google-hosted meeting and call via the link included in Mio’s message.
